Professional Pet Sitter & Dog Walker
in Columbia, TN

JOIN US!

Do you believe that a wagging tail or a contented purr is one of life's simplest, truest joys?

This Might Be the Perfect Role for You!

There's something special about walking through a door and being greeted like you're the best part of someone's day. The excited wiggles. The happy meows. The way a shy dog finally leans into you for a scratch behind the ears after a few visits. The grateful sigh of a senior pet who just needed a gentle hand and a calm presence. If that sounds like your kind of work week we'd love to meet you!

A Pet Sitting Love Hub LLC is growing, and we're looking for a Professional Pet Sitter & Dog Walker to join our team in Columbia, Tennessee. This isn't a casual gig you pick up when you feel like it. It's a role for someone who takes genuine pride in being reliable, who notices the little things others might miss, and who understands deep down that when a client hands you their house key, they're really handing you their heart.

We're seeking someone ready to commit for a minimum of one year or more, because the families who trust us deserve consistency, and the pets we care for deserve to build relationships with people who will actually be there for the long haul. This is about showing up, day after day, and becoming someone they can count on.

A Little About Us

Since 2021, A Pet Sitting Love Hub has been providing loving, professional in-home pet care to families in Columbia and Spring Hill. We're licensed in the state of Tennessee, fully insured, and bonded. Every member of our team is thoroughly background-checked and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. We take the responsibility of caring for furry family members seriously.

But the real story is simpler than credentials: WE SHOW UP. We pay close attention. We treat every single pet as if it were our very own loved companion. And we're looking for someone who feels the same way deep in their bones.

Over the years, we've built relationships with more than 135 families who trust us with what matters most. That trust wasn't given lightly, and we protect it every single day. Now we're ready to grow, and we need the right person to grow with us.

What You'll Do

No two days look exactly alike, and that's the absolute beauty of this work. One morning, you might be taking a gentle senior dog on a slow sniffari around their favorite block. The next, you're sitting quietly on a living room floor, letting a shy cat approach you on their own terms, waiting patiently until they decide you're safe. The day after that, you might be wrangling a playful puppy who thinks leashes are the best toys ever invented.

You'll visit homes throughout Columbia and occasionally Spring Hill, providing:

  • Dog walks and potty breaks tailored to each pet's energy and needs

  • Fresh food and clean water are served exactly according to each pet's routine

  • Medication administration when needed

  • Playtime that engages both body and mind

  • Litter box scooping and mental playtime stimulation for our feline friends

  • Lots of love, cuddles, and gentle attention

  • Detailed visit reports with photos and video, so clients always know how their pet is doing

This is very much a customer service role as much as it is a pet care position, and the people you'll serve genuinely make it a joy.

Who You Are

YOU'RE SOMEONE WHO:

  • Is 18 years or older

  • Has a valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured transportation

  • Can commute to Columbia and Spring Hill, TN, in all kinds of weather, because pets need us rain or shine, snow or humidity

  • Loves people just as much as animals (seriously, our clients are wonderful humans!)

  • Is 100% reliable — The pets in your care depend on you showing up for every scheduled visit

  • Responds promptly to messages and writes clear, warm, observant pet reports

  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and notices when something seems even slightly off

  • Can provide professional references and successfully pass a background check

Experience working with dogs and cats in a professional setting is a nice-to-have, but not required. What matters most is your heart, your reliability and your

willingness to learn and grow with us.

What You'll Love About This Job

THE PAY AND BENEFITS:

  • $17/hour for the right person

  • Paid drive time between visits

  • $0.30 per mile reimbursement

  • Paid training, including full Pet CPR/First Aid certification

  • Get paid to stay active

  • Working with furry faces who offer unconditional love and zero judgment
